I was trying to search for a definitive answer to whether a physical PS4 disc version of the game would entitle me to a free upgrade to the PS5 digital version (assuming I insert the PS4 disc into my PS5 disc console). In order to get both PS4 and PS5 versions, you need to purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition.
TL/DR: The PS4 physical disc version of the game does NOT include a free PS5 upgrade (and there are no announced plans to sell the upgrade separately). Hopefully this info helps someone else out there with the same question I had.
